Today, I made the final revisions to a very challenging digital composite that will be used to decorate the lobby of a downtown Honolulu building. This project went through many evolutions to yield the final image that the client is going to display. The job began with the client's need for an art piece to decorate the lobby of their building. I wanted to create something interesting and dynamic that would stir curiosity among passersby, yet maintain elements of the actual building itself to provide a sense of familiarity mixed with the intrique of the unfamiliar. Here is the initial image (and a close up of the building) that began the project.

You can view the finished image in my Recent Assignments section. Hope you enjoy the final piece as much as I did creating it with interior designer, Carol Kozlovich. Aloha! |
